Project Highlights
- Existing warehouse space was upfit with a material handling system requiring six new electrical distribution panels.
- A three story automation mezzanine required high light levels and occupancy control to accommodate various operational conditions.
- Two-story office areas within the existing warehouse provide working space for on-site office personnel.
- Conditioned fine wine storage area required the rework of existing lights and fire alarm devices to accommodate new multilevel racking.
- A 6,000 square foot keg cooler was designed and installed to accommodate multilevel racking and loading of kegs by forklift.
- New dock levelers were provided for some of the more than 120 roll up loading dock doors at the facility.
- Existing cardboard balers and fork lift battery chargers from another location were coordinated to be installed in the new space.
- New fabric ducts provided on conveyor mezzanines for HVAC required careful coordination with new light fixtures to avoid shadowing.
- Three existing electrical services from the electric utility provider were researched and load balanced for the new electrical infrastructure.
- A new UPS system was designed and integrated with the existing on-site electrical generator to provide power for the client's critical loads and network/security infrastructure.
